Quit Smoking Month Altogether

Newsletter Day 8

Hi Des,            Thursday, Oct 8,  2009                     Send to a Friend

Day 8 of your Quitober Challenge.
You are now into your second week & if you have managed to stay smoke free, hopefully it is starting to get easier. I am even finding it easier to do the newsletters.

Special Ash Australia Report: Hey! check out this very controversial report on tobacco-free campus in Australia below just released at Darwin tobacco cnference. Also listen to ABC radio darwin at 5.45 tonight for the latest on this tobacco conference.

  Your Say

From Des at Quitober:You know this is a great job I have. I am finally doing a job
that can help someone else and it is a good feeling. If anyone else is feeling good about quitting or even if they are not it woudl be great to hear from you, as it makes my working life seem worth it.

Nicholas from UA says: "WoW.. almost 1 week and I am still hanging in there"

Quitober says: It is very quiet out there, I hope that is a good sign!

  Quit Smoking Tips

Tip 8 :                                                                                          *Tips supplied by Quitnet.com

Quitting for the family?....or it's your call!

It's your call....., not your family's. Each of us has to come to the quitting point in our own time and manner; not much is accomplished by trying to quit before we are ready,
or because of the urgings of others (no matter how close or loved they are). Good intentions on your or your family's part won't do much to ensure a successful quit; motivation comes from
within!
