Rules for Employer Sponsors and Smokers

All smokers must be registered by September 28 .

1. Employer Sponsor.
   Are registered employers that sponsor their staff by either refunding their staff smokers their membership if they successfully quit during Quitober. Or by simply paying for their staff's membership upfront.
   *We can invoice the employer before the start of Quitober for all of their registered staff smokers.
2. Sponsored Smoker.
   Are registered smokers that are sponsored by their employer to quit smoking.
   They also receive a Quitober Pack & have a chance to win incentive prizes.
   
   1. If the staff smokers has paid their own $31 membership upfront, it is refunded by their employer sponsor if they successfully quit during Quitober.
   2. If the staff smoker is sponsored by their employer upfront they do not need to pay for their membership and do not get any refund.
      
3. Sponsored Quitters. Are registered sponsored members that have remained smoke-free during Quitober and answered affirmative to the end of Quitober survey.* Of course we encourage our members to quit smoking for good .
   
4. Unsponsored Smokers.
   Are registered smokers that are unsponsored and register for free.
   However they do not receive a Quitober Pack and do not have a chance to win
   any incentive prizes.
   
5. Unsponsored Quitters.
   Are registered unsponsored members that have remained smoke-free during Quitober and answered affirmative to the end of Quitober survey. However they
   do not go into the draw to win incentive prizes.

6. Incentive Prize Draw.
   Successful Sponsored Quitters go into the draw to win incentive prizes drawn on Nov 7 2010.
   
7. Smoke-free.
   Means no use of tobacco products of any kind during the Quitober Challenge. Members can use any method to remain smoke-free.
   Successful Quitters will have their names listed on the Quitober website.
   
8. Quitober Pack.
   Quitober Packs are sent out to Employer Sponsors before the Quitober Challenge and have the Positively Quit Manual, Aeror Airflow Amplifier, wristband
   and a number of other items useful for Sponsored Smokers to quit smoking.
   
9. Quitober Wristband.
   Sponsored members are required to wear the Quitober lime green wristband found in the Quitober Pack. This signifies that you are a Sponsored Member of Quitober.
   
10. Post-event Survey.
    Sponsored Members must complete the online survey to confirm their cessation at the end of Quitober. Sponsored Quitters go into the draw to to win one of 3 travel prizes and is drawn on the 7th of November 2010.
    
11. Eligibility.
    This campaign is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand, who are over the age of 18 as of October 1, 2010. Each entrant must also be a person who is considered a regular smoker.
    
12. Winners.
    Are one of 3 drawn from the group of Sponsored Quitters that have completed the online survey and confirmed that they are Successful Quitters. They may be requested to provide proof of identification and eligibility. Employers and workmates will be asked to verify the successful Quitters cessation status, with winners' names being listed on the Quitober website.
    * Success means in this case to quit for the month of Quitober. We recommend that smokers go on to quit for good.
    
13. Incentive Prizes.
    1. A return flight to South East Asia or a cash prize of $600
    2. A 4 day rental of an Audi A5 or a cash prize of $500
    3. A weekend hotel in Australia or a cash value of $400
